Dear all,

 Amazing how much can happen in such a short time. First of all, I finished the sessions with the career coach and decided to go on in multimedia design. Before I could finish this I had to write to several companies who do what I want to do and ask them if I could come by and taste the atmosphere and see what's they are doing. On all emails I sent I got positive answers and was invited to meet them. The first one, TPO Studios in Rotterdam. It was absolutely great to meet the passionate, energetic and creative manager of this place! They make impressive campaigns and I was even invited to come back for a day and spend a day there while making an animation for www.rodedodo.nl .

Click here to check out the animation.Also in the pas months I've continued to do some things for the site www.nmlk.nl where I made some animations, changed layouts and did some functional design and testing. 

 Then I got some bad news a few weeks ago. The two courses I signed up for were cancelled, due to lack of interest. That was a big bummer, since I had been looking forward to this. So that threw me off, but then some other things came along like bulding a website for a law firm.

So all is going well and yes I did start my own little company a few weeks ago! Still working for Cadran as well, so that gives me an excellent basis and I might be asked to do some things for their website as well! So all in all, enough things to do and I've met some great people to work with. This week I will start a different course in Creative Design, so looking forward to that as well!

Hi everybody,

In the past months I really got ahead with figuring out what I want to do with work. I've been working on some website things for the NMLK site (site for meeting new people). Among other things I made this banner :

While doing this I started realising that this is what I want to do, multimedia and graphic design. Yeahheah!

 I'm getting really itchy to start with this and also the sessions I've had with the carreer development coach are turning into this direction. So now, I need to get some more education and experience. Recently I went to the Media College here in Rotterdam and they have what I'm looking for. I'm not looking for training on how to use the software, but the concept design, knowing what works well and what doesn't. More the design side. Next September I will  start the multimedia and/or graphic design course. I'm thinking of doing both, it'll be 2 months of hard work and hardly anything else, but then again it's only 2 months.

This week I finished the flash animation  Click here to play the game. Use you're mouse to pick up the bucket and catch the coconuts! My highest score is 680, so try to beat me! Also the graphic design course I was doing is finished now and here's a few things I created.  

So before the training starts in September, I've got several sites to work on, so enough to keep me busy! And this week I started working for Cadran again, for 2 days a week. They had a project close to Rotterdam and I can use some income if I wanna do the course etc, so for me it's the perfect combination. Getting used to the workschedule again, while still able to do the other things. That's all for now, back to the drawing board!
